2027 Entry

Entries for the 33rd Jumbo-Holdsworth Trail Race — Saturday 30th January 2027 — are open. The race has sold out about a month before entries close for the last three years, so don't leave it late.

Hooper Loop$65

Plus a $5 admin and credit card fee per online entry. Entries include a custom wool-blend race beanie and a post-race lunch.

The 2027 race beanie. It counts as the wool hat on the mandatory gear list. Beanies are handed out at registration, so you need to be at the event to collect yours.

Entry Terms & Conditions

Entries are limited to 130 competitors in each direction on the main course, and 300 competitors in total on the day — whichever fills first.
There is a waitlist for each race if you miss out, including the option to change direction if one sells out.
Entries close at 12pm Monday 18th January 2027.
Until 12pm 18th January 2027 you can downgrade to the Hooper Loop, or swap direction on the main course, at no charge — use the link in your confirmation email.
Until 12pm 18th January 2027 you can transfer your entry to another person for a $20 admin fee. After that, if you can no longer run you will need to withdraw.
No course changes or transfers after 12pm 18th January 2027.
24km competitors must be over 18 as at 30/01/2027 and Hooper Loop competitors over 14. Younger runners may be able to race at the organisers' discretion — email race@jumbo-holdsworth.co.nz.

Refunds

Withdrawals before 1st January 2027 receive a 50% refund.
Withdrawals from 1st January 2027 onwards receive no refund.
