Registrations for the 2024 race will open on the 2nd of August 2023. Terms and conditions below.

Race entry fees are as follows:

  • Jumbo->Holdsworth - $80
  • Holdsworth->Jumbo - $80
  • Hooper Loop - $60

All race entries include a custom race Buff* and a healthy post race lunch

Entry Terms and Conditions
  • Entries are limited to 130 competitors each direction on the main course, and a total of 300 competitors on the day. Whatever way it fills up first.
  • There is a waitlist for each race if you miss out on an entry, including the ability to change direction if one sells out.
  • Entries will close on Friday the 20th of January 2024 at 5pm. However they have sold out at least a month out for the last 3 years!
  • You can downgrade your course to the Hooper Loop for no charge, or swap directions on the main course for no charge until the 1st of Jan 2024. Access your registration via the confirmation email to do so.
  • You can transfer your entry to another person for an admin fee of $20 until the 1st of Jan 2024. After that you will need to withdraw. Access your registration via the confirmation email to do so.
  • There are no course changes or transfers after the 1st of January. Money has been spent by then.
  • All competitors in the 24km race need to be over the age of 18yrs as at 28/01/2024. You may be able to race if you are younger, but at the organisers discretion. Please contact race@jumbo-holdsworth.co.nz
  • All competitors in the Hooper Loop need to be over the age of 14yrs as at 28/01/2024. You may be able to race if you are younger, but at the organisers discretion. Please contact race@jumbo-holdsworth.co.nz
  • A 5% admin and CC fee is added to each online entry.

Refunds

  • A withdrawal of your entry before the 1st of January allows a 50% refund only.
  • Withdrawing from the 1st of January 2024 onwards has no refund of entry fees.

* Your Buff will be included in your race pack, you must be running that day to pick it up. They will not be sent out or available for people who withdraw.
